Community Park – Adams Township, PA

Adams Township’s Community Park is screaming with new fun!  Steve Baker with Snider Recreation designed an area filled with a colorful play structure and surrounded with poured-in-place rubber surfacing.  The installation of the surface mount equipment was with a group of community volunteers.  Supervised Installs are a wonderful way to get a BANG out of your budget because the money can go into the equipment and the safety surfacing.

The design for the park brought in shaded structures for different age groups, spinners, and swings.  The 5-12 structure challenges the need of this age groups physical abilities and includes climbing, sliding, swinging, and spinning.   The 2-5 structure helps children to use and refine their gross motor skills. Here the children will find balance challenges, slides, climbers and fun play panels.  The three bay swings have seats for everyone and includes the inclusive Freedom Seat.

Kids love to play, and the benefits are endless. From social and emotional development to physical and cognitive growth, play is a necessary part of childhood. Give kids a place to play and they will take it from there!
