Scott Primary School – Glenshaw, PA

Shaler Area School Districted has a new K-3 Primary School with a colorful new playground designed and installed by Snider Recreation.

The playground is spread out in different areas. There is a large structure with metal hex roof and a large 15 x 15 shade canopy. The structure has a Rock ‘n Roll, Triple Rail and Velo slides; Jungle Vine, Leaf, Convex, Centipede and Cargo Net climbers.  There are 2 free standing shade canopies for 8’ ADA Picnic Tables. Also in the play area is a climbing structure that has the Plexus overhead in the center and reaches out to both sides with different climbing challenges.

Movement is the key to better physical and mental health and these playgrounds encourages the students to move! With events the challenge kids’ upper and lower bodies, agility and strength, they will get healthier and have fun in these play spaces!
