Canon McMillian Schools – Muse, PA

Canon McMillian Schools had a new elementary school being constructed, Muse Elementary. They had a need for a playspace that matched the awe of the new building.  Steve Baker with Snider Recreation designed an area filled with play equipment and surrounded with poured-in-place rubber surfacing.  This is a playground that will be loved for years to come.

The design for Muse Elementary brought in something for everyone. Students can climb, slide, spin and swing their recess away!  The structure, which includes two 15’ x 15’ shade canopies, sprawls out across the play yard with slides going in all directions!  There are climbers like the Spider, Jungle Vine and Merge.  Freestanding equipment surrounds the structure with the Comet Spinner, a 4 Seat Rocker and a Kidforce Spinner.  There is a long swing bay which includes a Freedom swing seat.  There really is something for every student to challenge their physical and creative abilities.
