Cascade Hills Country Club in Grand Rapids, MI worked with Snider Recreation to design a play structure that would meet the needs of their members. The installation location was near the Country Club’s swimming pool, so they opted for a poured rubber playground surface.
The play structure pulls in some FUN equipment while getting the kids on the move! They will be balancing across the Sky Pods, racing down the Rock’n Roll and Spiral slides and spinning away on the Fierce Cyclone spinner.
The playground and surfacing installation came out pretty as a picture and was completed in plenty of time for the Country Club to get the pool area ready for the busy summer season.

This structure was full of FUN! The first things you notice on this play structure are the amazing colors and all the climbers! This structure really packs it in with a triple viper slide, comet and extreme cyclone spinners, along with the stone slope and trigon tower climbers the campers of all ages will be enjoying their time together!

Snider Recreation designed a new playground for North Spenser Schools’ Nancy Hanks Elementary. The structure has the students on the move and has a capacity for over 100 students.
The structure is bookended with slides. On one end you will find the Double Viper Slide that’s filled with twists and turns, the other end you will find a Swift Glider. Whether you’re shimming your way up, or gliding down the skinny slide, the students will be on the move! The slides are joined together by climbers and overhead equipment that will challenge the students balance, strength and motor skills. For the students who like to spin, there are 2 Fierce Cyclone Spinners attached to the structure!
Snider Recreation loves bringing the FUN into recess by installing play equipment for schools! Students always love recess, but with this new play structure, their Fun just got a whole lot more active!
Climbers provide several developmental benefits to children, building upper body strength along with boosting balance and coordination while they play.
The Town of Versailles called Snider Recreation with their need for a new playground at Tyson Memorial Park. Snider Recreation’s local Indiana sales representative was quick to come up with some custom playground designs for their review. Snider Recreation quickly took an open field and created 3,570 square feet of FUN! This new play space is surrounded with play ground borders, ADA ramps, rubber mats for high traffic areas and wood fiber surfacing; making it age-appropriate and all-inclusive.
This design has an exciting play structure, Novo Arc Benches, Kid Force & Comet spinners and swings, including the new Volito Swing! The structure brings Climber after Climber! Power Pipes, the Wild Web, Hyper Helix, the Active Apex and Apex Wave Climbers to name a few! The structure also contains a Rock’n Roll and an 8 foot Double Viper Slide.

Snider Recreation went to the design board again for Rochester Community Schools. This time it was for a new school playground for Hamlin Elementary. The design that Snider Recreation presented was one that would get the students on the move to having FUN! It also has them stepping out and using Burke Turf for the first time at one of their schools!
Let’s not forget to highlight the play structure, which is age-appropriate for the children. It has a Double Spiral Viper Slide for the students to race down and an 8’ Expedition Climber for the students to reach new heights! Other climbers on and around the school playground are the Power Peak, Leaf and Verto climbers.
A playground isn’t complete without spinning and swinging! For those who like to twirl the design brought in the ever popular Comet Spinner which is great for spinning alone or with friends! Along with the long bays of swings the students will be flying through recess!

Lincoln Electric wanted to provide a play space for their employee’s children. They came to Snider Recreation with the idea to put in a playground near their outdoor pavilion. The local sales rep worked up a design for a custom playground.
The installation team went to work installing the structure.
The play structure includes the Fierce Cyclone Spinner, Jungle Vine Climber and Crest Point Climber. There are 2 Rock ’n Roll Slides, a Sprocket Activity Panel and a Modern Curved Roof. Next to the structure Snider Recreation installed 2 Arch Swing Bays.

Miami Township wanted a playground at Miami Meadows Park that would be for everyone. Snider Recreation designed and installed a playground that brought in age appropriate structures and freestanding equipment. Jeff Snider kept the goal in mind to make this a playground not just accessible but also inclusive! Jeff incorporated play equipment that addressed the physical, emotional and social needs of every child. The overall design incorporated inclusiveness throughout with a variety of equipment to open a life of play to children with all abilities.
At the front of each structure is a Welcome Sign showing the appropriate age the equipment is designed for. The younger structure, designed for 2-5 year olds has a balcony, ramps and bridges. The structure pulls in leaf climbers, a rock crawl climber, and a pod walk. Three different Slides surround the structure. And activity panels are scattered below, around and throughout. There is a wall of activity panels located under a canopy where you will find imagination in full swing!
The all-inclusive playground for 5-12 year olds brings in many climbers. Including the popular Twist n’ Turn and Tree climbers. The slides are faster and bring a twist! This one has Viper Slides, Spiral Slide, and a Double Poly Wave!
Free standing equipment includes a Rockit Tunnel, Kidforce Spinner, Orbitron and the Cruiser. The Cruiser has enough room for two wheelchairs and two full benches, which allows up to 12 children of all abilities to play together. There are long bays of swings which include toddler seats and the Freedom Seats along with belt swings.
One thing is for sure, the play space at Miami Meadows has something for everyone, even the child at heart!
Eastwood Elementary School in Warrensville Heights came to Snider Recreation with a dream of a new playground structure that would be safe and fun for their students. Snider Recreation developed a custom playground configuration based on the requirements presented for the playground project. The custom design provides a safe environment that is aesthetically pleasing, full of fun for all users.
The structure brings an Amped Climber to build coordination and strength, a Double Rail Slide and 3 Rock ’n Roll Slides to race down! Students have activity panels that help them to get creative and use their imaginations in their play!
One thing is for sure, this new school playground brings FUN to the students at Eastwood Elementary!
All children deserve to have playtime and space, however, children with disabilities are not always able to enjoy playgrounds especially when they are cumbersome, not fully accessible, or too far from home.
Snider Recreation worked with the All-Kids Playground organization to design an all-inclusive playground that creates an environment where a child’s physical health, emotional well-being, and development of life skills are met as they learn and grow through play. The need for the playground was immediate, Jeff Snider made sure that the design could be broken into phases, with each phase focusing in on enhancing the inclusion and addressing the needs of children with all abilities. Snider Recreation made sure that the playground would look complete at the end of each phase. This playground is an inviting place that accommodates mobility devices, play structures, and activity areas.
Council President Sean Brennan spearheaded the legislation to donate the property to the non-profit organization, located at James Day Park (formally Nike Park) in Parma, Ohio. Phase One was completed with a supervised installation. Snider Recreation supervised volunteers from the community. Mickey Vittardi, director of parks and recreation, jumped in with his department, and they helped with the construction and installation of the equipment.
The idea for the playground came from a teacher listening to the concerns of local parents with special needs children, Tamara Tomasello, and numerous other parents, professionals and teens from the community, joined forces to try to raise dollars to create the All Kids Playground, a playground designed to allow children with and without disabilities to play side by side with peers and siblings. “This will be for all children, not just for children with special needs, but for all children to get along and play together. It will be a pleasant place for families from all over to interact.” Tomasello said.
The Village of Minerva Park worked with Snider Recreation to create a peaceful environment for a new play structure. The design features many climbers including the coil climber, twist net, and a curved RockIt panel. Along with the climbers are two slides and an S overhead component to keep the kids swinging and sliding throughout the day. Off in the distance are the swings, a picnic table and benches are nestled in the trees that surround the play ground.
