Snider Recreation worked with the city of Fairview Park to design a new playground at Grannis Park. The city was awarded a Nature Works Grant by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. They chose a design that brings over 4,000 square feet of FUN and has a user capacity of over 200 kids! While Snider Recreation designed a play structure that brings in the FUN, this structure also brings equipment designed to challenge their physical abilities, as well as areas for socialization and imagination.

The structure is accessible to all and spreads the fun out in all directions with ramps, arched catwalks and a long buckle bridge. No matter your level of exploration, there is something for everyone!  If you like to slide, this is the place to be, with two 4’ slides and two 8’ slides the children will be racing down the slopes!  Fast, fun and exhilarating, slides also help to develop balance, coordination and cooperation.  If it is new heights you want to reach, you will not be disappointed, and with all the different types of climbers this structure will have the kids at the peak of adventure. There are play panels that are scattered throughout the design that encourage interaction and imagination, while helping to develop fine-motor skills for children with all abilities.

Around the structure you will find more climbers, a fierce cyclone spinner, comet spinner and 3 bays of swings which brings seats for toddlers, school aged and freedom swings. The freedom seat allows children of all abilities to enjoy the childhood joy of swinging in a safe and secure seat.

The Snider Recreation install team installs year round. The installation of this playground began just as the snow started to fall.  The poured-in-place rubber playground surfacing had to wait for warmer weather.  The crew returned in the spring to button up the project.  Let the FUN begin!
